Ara : Hundreds of activists of All India Students Association (AISA) took out a protest march from their office near eastern railway crossing, Ara, on February 25 that passed through the main thoroughfares of the town and culminated near Ara railway station campus where they burnt the effigy of PM Narendra Modi in protest against recent attack on the organizers of a two- day seminar on ‘Culture of Protest’ in the Ramjas College in Delhi University by the activists of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP).

Addressing the meeting, Bhojpur district president, AISA, Sabbir said that the educational institutions in the country were being made centre of goons of RSS, BJP and the ABVP. He said that Umar Khalid of JNU and former student union vice president, JNU, Shahla Rashid had to address the seminar but the goons of the ABVP resorted to vandalism to prevent them to address the seminar.
