Patna : World No 12 Roberto Bautista Agut, 31, Spain, survived Marton Fucsovics scare to advance to second round of ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament also known as Rotterdam Open, an ATP World Tour 500 indoor hard courts event, at Rotterdam, Netherlands on February 10, 2020, night.

Sixth seed Agut, who has won 9 career titles, beat qualifier Marton Fucsovics, 28, Hungary, in a tough three-set contest 4-6, 7-6, 6-1 battling back from one set down. The Hungarian though fired 11 Aces in the match to 5 by the Spaniard. But, Agut won 5 break points in the match to 3 by the Hungarian. Agut won 4 games in a row in the match to 3 by Fucsovics.

World No 30 Pablo Carreno Busta, 28, Spain, beat World No 44 Adrian Mannarino, 31, France, in a three-set thriller 7-5, 6-7, 6-4 to enter the second round. Mannarino though fired 12 Aces in the match to 6 by Busta, who has won 4 career titles. Both the players committed 2 double faults each. Busta won 4 break points in the match to 2 by Mannarino. He also won 3 games in a row to 2 by Mannarino. The French players won 74 service points to 67 by the Spaniard. Busta will face Agut in 2nd round February 12, 2020.
