Patna : World No 22 Roberto Bautista Agut, 31, Spain, beat World No 26 Guido Pella, 29, Argentina, in four-sets to enter the semi-finals of Wimbledon Championships at London on July 10, 2019, evening. Agut, who had reached quarter-finals of the Australian Open in January 2019, beat Pella  7-6, 6-4, 3-6, 6-3 in the quarter-finals at All England Club on July 10.

Agut, the 23rd seed,  won 4 break points to 2 by Pella, the 26th seed. The Spaniard won 5 games in a row to 3 by Pella. Pella, however, fired 14 Aces in the match to 4 by Agut, who will face defending champion and top seed Novak Djokovic, Serbia, in the semi-finals on July 12, 2019. Djokovic leads Agut 7-3 head to head. Agut had upset World No 9 Karen Khachanov, 23, Russia, in the third round.
