Ara : A sexagenarian outraged modesty of a seven year old girl in a room at a temple at village Pandura village under Sandesh police station in Bhojpur district on July 9, 2019. A video of the incident was also made and posted on the social media.
On getting information, police arrested two miscreants: Rang Lal Yadav alias Heera Lal Singh, 65, and his associate Ram Nath Singh, 34, and also seized the mobile on July 10, 2019. Later, police sent them to jail. Police brought the girl over to Ara Sadar Hospital for medical examination and will produce her before a Ara court to get her statement recorded under Section 164 of CrPC. An FIR has also been lodged by Women’s police station, Ara, on the statement of the girl.
Bhojpur SP Sushil Kumar said that the survivor, a student of class II, was playing at the gate of her house at village Pandura when Rang Lal Yadav of the same village decoyed her and gave a toffee to her. The girl followed Rang Lal Yadav who took her into a room at a temple of the village and outraged her modesty while Ram Nath Singh videographed the incident and made it viral on the social media. When a relative of the girl saw the video and showed it to her parents they were shocked. They informed police. Police immediately swung into action and arrested Rang Lal Yadav from his house and Ram Nath Singh from the field.
