Patna : Replying to India’s 474, Afghanistan made a disastrous start and were all out for a paltry 109 in 27.5 overs in their first innings on day 2 of in the one off test at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru, with off spinner Mohammad Nabi scoring 24 runs while fellow spinner Mujeeb Ur Rahman scored 15. Afghanistan opener Mohammad Shahzad was un out for 14. 

For India, Ravichandran Ashwin took 4/27 in 8 overs while Ravindra Jadeja took 2/18 in 3.5 overs. Fast bowler Ishant Sharma took 2/28 in 5 overs while Umesh Yadav took 1/18 in 6 overs.

Forced to follow on, Afghanistan were 25/4 after 8 over in their second innings with fast bowler Umesh Yadav taking three wickets and Ishant Sharma one. In the second innings, Afghanistan lost their first wicket at 19 when opener Mohammad Shahzad fell to Umesh Yadav for 13. His partner Javed Ahmadi also fell to Yadav for 3. Mohammad Nabi was lbw to Yadav for duck while Rahmat Shah fell to Sharma for 4. Afghanistan are still trailing by 341 runs.
