Patna : Afghanistan were 237/8 in their 2nd innings at stumps on Day 3 in the one-off test against Bangladesh at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium, Chattogram, Bangladesh, on September 7, 2019, with Afsar Zazai (wk) unbeaten on 34 and Yamin Ahmadzai yet to score. Afghanistan lead by 374 runs.

Opener Ibrahim Zardan scored 87 in 208 balls with 6 fours and 4 sixes while Ashghar Afgan , who had scored 92 in the first innings, scored 50 in 108 balls hitting 4 fours and 2 sixes. Rahmat Sah, who had scored 102 in the first innings, fell to Shakib Al Hasan (c) for zero. Captain Rashid Khan, who had scored 51 in the first innings, fell to Taijul Islam for 24. For Bangladesh, Shakib Al Hasan has taken 3/53.

Earlier resuming at their overnight score of 194/8, Bangladesh were all out for 205 conceding a lead of 137 runs.  Afghanistan had scored 342 runs in their first innings.
