Saharsa : Three suspected cases of novel Coronavirus ( COVID-19),  all in 25–35 years age group, have been admitted to Saharsa Sadar Hospital and kept at an Isolation Ward of the hospital. Another suspected case, a man who had returned from Saudi Arabia recently, too has been identified and a medical team has been rushed to Mahishi in Saharsa District in North Bihar to bring him to Saharsa Sadar Hospital, according to Dr Masroor Alam of Sadar Hospital. Detection of four suspected cases in Saharsa district has made the people apprehensive.

One of the suspected case, a resident of village Balahi in Saharsa District who works as Painter at Amritsar, Punjab, was detected at Saharsa Railway Station during a drive undertaken by the Railways to examine passengers getting down at the station. He was sent to Saharsa Sadar Hospital by an ambulance. He had returned from Assam with his friend. The Balahi native said that he was suffering from pain abdomen and had returned to Saharsa for treatment.

Two other persons,who had returned from Maharashtra, were also sent to Saharsa Sadar Hospital on suspicion. One of them is a resident of Khojri Matihani in Saharsa District. A six-bed Isolation Ward has been created at Saharsa Sadar Hospital though it lacks adequate number of kits.
