ACJM 8, Siwan, attacked, Rs 10,000 looted, no arrest

Siwan : Police are yet to arrest an unidentified bike borne person who not only assaulted ACJM 8, Siwan, Akhouri Abhishekh Sahay, on July 10, 2017, morning at the gate of DAV Public School located in Srinagar colony of the town but also looted Rs 10,000 from him. The school principal and others present there intervened and saved Sahay. Sahay had gone to the school to drop his children there by his car.

ACJM Sahay has lodged an FIR with Muffasil police station, Siwan, in connection with the incident, which has exposed law and order in the district besides shocking the locals. The man attacked Sahay with a knife, assaulted him and threatened him with dire consequence .

Confirming the incident, ASP Siwan Kartikey Sharma, IPS, said that police were trying to locate the man who attacked ACJM 8, Siwan, Sahay, on the basis of some clues. The ASP said that since no CCTV camera is installed at the school or in the area and neither Sahay or school principal and others witness to the incident have been able to identify the man, locating him has become slightly difficult even as he is a local. The ASP said that Sahay and the unidentified man a heated exchange on July 5, 2017, during a traffic jam. The ASP denied that the incident was related to some judgement delivered by ACJM 8 Sahay.
