AAP leader arrested for beating Bihia Station Master

Ara: Bhojpur police arrested a leader of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Saturday and forwarded him to jail for allegedly  beating the Station Master (SM) of Bihia railway station under Danapur rail division on Friday evening. Some people were protesting stoppage of a goods train on the track at Bihia railway station on last Friday. Meanwhile, an AAP leader Sachin Kumar Gupta alias Sachchu entered the chamber of the Station Master (SM), Bihia railway station, B K Pandey and allegedly hurled choicest abuses on him besides having a scuffled with him. After the GRP arrived on the spot, the AAP leader disappeared from the scene.

As a result, a number of long distance trains remained stranded at different railway station between Danapur  and Mughalsarai railway  stations. The injured SM was admitted to a local hospital. An FIR was lodged by the GRP police station on the statement of the SM. On the other hand, AAP leader Sachin Kumar Gupta alleged had that the SM misbehaved with him when he took side of the agitating people. Gupta said he did not beat the SM and had only a tiff with him.e SM.
