A N Se Young enters Top 10 in BWF rankings, Saina Nehwal is World No 10

Patna : A N Se Young, 17, South Korea, has jumped 1 place to be ranked World No 9 with 60,750 points in the BWF rankings released on November 26, 2019, after winning the women’s singles title at Gwangju Korea Masters at Gwangju, South Korea, last week. Sung Ji Hyun, South Korea, who had lost to Young in the final of Gwangju Korea Masters last week, has jumped 3 places and is ranked World No 11 with 5e,900 points.

Saina Nehwal, 29, India, who has lost in first round in six tournaments during last few months, has slipped 1 place to be ranked World N 10 with 56,937 points. P V Sindhu, India, remains static at World 6 with 78,314 points despite her poor performance during last few weeks. Mugdha Agrey, India, has slipped 10 places and is ranked World No 69 with 22,620 points.

Tai Tzu Ying, 25, Chinese Taipei, remains World No 1 with 92,675 points while Chen Yu Fei, China, remains World No 2 with 92,465 points. Nozomi Okuhara, Japan, is World No 3 with 88,986 points while Akane Yamaguchi, Japan, is World No 4 with 88,650 points. Ratchanok Intanon, Thailand, is World No 5 with 80,285 points.
