Police arrest 3 boozers on tip off from school girl

Patna: Even as liquor mafias threatened a few girls in Rohtas district, a school going girl of Patna dared inform Senior SP (SSP) Mannu Maharaaj about boozers and it led to arrest of three boozers from Beur locality on January 25.

Some persons were boozing at a secluded room of a cellphone tower in Sri Krishna locality under Beur police station on Wednesday.  A school girl, who saw them boozing, immediately informed SSP about it. Acting on the directive of Patna SSP, a police team led by Beur police station SHO reached there and arrested three persons from there, who were identified as Nitesh Kumar, Shiv Shankar Sharma and Vijay Prakash.
