Patna : Active cases count increased to 31 in Bihar including 14 in Patna on October 7 as 4 more persons tested positive for Covid-19 in the state in last 24 hours, up from 2 cases on the previous day, on October 6, 2021. The Active cases count was 28 in Bihar on October 6, 2021. The state did not report any new death due to Covid-19 in lst 24 hours and the toll remained static at 9,661 on October 7, 2021.
The state has recorded 7,25,979 Covid-19 cases of which 7,16,286 patient have recovered including 1 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate being 98.66% on October 7, 2021. Bihar has tested 4,70,54,417 samples so far including 1,35,288 samples on October 6, 2021. The 4 new Covid-1 cases included 2 in Patna and 2 in Bhagalpur, according to State Health Department figure.
Meanwhile, Bihar Health Minister Mangal Pandey reviewed the functioning of Health Department in Vaishali District in North Bihar on October 7, 2021. He was also present at Hajipur Sadar Hospital with Union Minister Pashupati Kumar Paras during launch of 35 PSA plants by PM Narendra Modi on the day.
