Patna : Active cases count was 106 in Bihar including 22 in Patna on August 26, 2021, as only 15 more persons tested positive for Covid-19 in the state in last 24 hours, down from 31 cases the day before. Active cases count in the state was 104 on August 25, 2021. Bihar did not report any new death due to Covid-19 in last 24 hours and toll remained static at 9,650 in the stte on August 26.
Bihar has logged 7,25,651 Covid-19 cases so far of which 7,15,894 patients have been declared cured including 13 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate (RR) remaining static at 98.63% on August 26, 2021. The state has tested 4,10,66,530 samples so far including 1,55,804 samples on August 25, 2021.
The 15 new Covid-19 cases included 3 in Patna, 3 in Saharsa, 2 in Khagaria, and 1 each in Bhojpur, East Champaran, Madhepura, Muzaffarpur, Samastipur, Saran, and Sitamarhi.
