Ara : A motorcycle borne youth was crushed to death by a speeding Scorpio near Bibiganj Petrol Pump under Gajrajganj police outpost on NH-84 on Ara-Buxar main road in Bhojpur District on May 17, 2021, afternoon. The driver of the Scorpio escaped from the scene leaving the vehicle behind.
Police seized the Scorpio and motorcycle and brought the body over to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. The deceased was identified as Raju Kumar, 24, son of Santosh Paswan of Dasaiya Dera Raghupati Dera (Javahi Diara) village, under Brahmpur police station in Buxar District. The family of the deceased said that Raju Kumar was going to Patna on motorcycle in the morning and when he reached near Bigiganj petrol pump, a speeding Scorpio collided head-on with the motorcycle killing him on the spot.
