Ara : A middleage person was beaten to death while his younger brother was injured by a group of people at village Mishrauli under Bihia police station (PS) in Bhojnpur District on May 5, 2021, late evening.
Police brought the body over to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem and admitted the injured there. An FIR was lodged with Bihia police station in this connection. Police are investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest the miscreants. Old enmity is said to be the cause behind the incident. The deceased was identified as Krishna Ram, 45, son of late Bhikhari Ram, while the injured was identified as Muni Ji Ram.
Muni Ji Ram said that his family had enmity with their relatives at the village over breaking of balcony two months ago and two separate FIRs were lodged with the police by both the parties. But, the member of other party again started breaking the balcony and abusing them. When they protested, member of another group thrashed Krishna Ram to death and injured his younger brother
