Ara : Awadhesh Prasad, 65, son of late Shiv Pujan Prasad of village Amarpur under Naubatpur police station (PS) in Patna District person was killed while his son Pramod Kumar was injured when a speeding tractor collided head-on with their motorcycle near Chandi Chowk under Ara Muffasil PS in Bhojpur District on May 2, 2021, late evening.
Police brought the body over to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. SHO, Ara Muffassil PS, said that Awadhesh Prasad along with his son Pramod Kumar was going to his relatives at Zamira village under the police station on a motorcycle to attend a marriage ceremony and as he reached near Chandi Chowk, a speeding tractor collided head on with the motorcycle and injured them. The injured were admitted to a private clinic at Ara where Awadhesh Kumar succumbed to his injuries during treatment.
