Patna : Top seed Pablo Carreno Busta, 29, defeated Jaume Munar, 23, in a three-set contest in an all Spanish final on April 11, 2021, to lift the singles title at AnyTech365 Andalucia Open at Marbella,Spain, an ATP 250 clay courts event. World No 15 Busta edged past No 95 Munar in a three-set battle 6-1, 2-6, 6-4 in the final in 2hr 21 minutes. It is Busta’s first ATP tour title at home and fifth overall. For Munar, it was his first ATP Tour final.
Busta won 4 break points in during the match to 3 by Munar. Both the players won 5 games each in a row during the match. Top seed Busta, in all, won 97 points in the match to 86 by Munar. Munar, however, fired 6 Aces in the match to just 1 by Busta though he also committed 2 double faults. Incidentally, all the four semi-finalists at this event were from Spain.
