Patna : New Zealand (NZ) defeated Bangladesh by 5 wickets in 2nd ODI at Hagley Oval, Christchurch, NZ, on March 23, 2021, as captain Tom Latham (wk) scored an unbeaten 110 in 108 balls with 10 fours, his 5th ODI ton, and Devon Conway scored 72 in 93 balls hitting 7 fours. latham and Conway added 113 runs for the 4th wicket. Lathan and James Neesham then added 76 runs for the 5th wicket. Chasing a target of 272 runs, NZ scored 275/5 in 48.2 overs. NZ have now taken an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match ODI series. Tom Latham was named Player Of The Match. NZ had won the toss and opted to bowl.
