Bokaro  (Jharkhand) : Sparshika Mishra, a class XII student of DPS Bokaro, Jharkhand, has cleared the Indian Olympiad Qualifier in Biology (IOQB), which was held on February 7,  2021, and the results were declared on March 22, 2021, evening. Sparshika is the only student from Bokaro to clear this prestigious exam,  as per information received till now.

It may be mentioned here that the students who have qualified IOQB are selected for Orientation cum Selection Camp (OCSC) organized by Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE). Later, the successful students at OCSC will be given an opportunity to represent India at the International Level.

IOQB is a three hour two part (Part 1: National Standard Examination – NSE & Part II: Indian National Olympiad) examination which is jointly organised by Indian Association of Physics Teacher and Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE).

Congratulating Sparshika, Principal, DPS Bokaro, A  S Gangwar,  said, “It is the hard work and dedication of the student, parents, and teachers whose combined effort has given fruitful results.” He wished Sparshika the very best for the future.
