SL leg spinner Wanindu Hasaranga, 23, took 3/17 in 4 overs and was named Player Of The Match. WI had won the first match. The win ended SL’s nine-match losing streak.
Electing to bat after winning the toss, SL scored 160/6 in 20 overs with opener Dhanushka Gunathilaka scoring 56 in 42 balls with 4 fours and 2 sixes and his opening partner Pathum Nissanka scoring 37 in 23 balls with 4 fours and 1 six.
