Saharsa : The Sadar police arrested two persons: Mohammad Sabir and Mohammad Ehsan, from Alinagar
locality of Saharsa town on Thursday for allegedly vandalizing the statue of Netaji Subash Chandra Bose installed on cross road of refugee colony of the town .These two persons were arrested by the police on the basis of CCTV footage installed near cross road Some more persons are likely to be arrested by the police in connection with the incident. Sanjay Singh, SHO, Sadar police station, said that some anti -social elements had vandalized the statue of Netaji on May 20 night. Angry with the incident, the locals had on Monday blocked the road and demanded immediate arrest of the culprits.
