Ara : Hundreds of activists of the CPI took out a procession that passed through the main thoroughfares of Bihia in Bhojpur District on January 21, 2021, and culminated at Raja Bazaar Chowk where they burnt effigy of PM Narendra Modi in protest against three Farm Laws, rising unemployment, and agriculture crisis. They also raised slogans against the Union and State government.
Later, a symposium was organised on the campus of Vyahut Dharmshala. Speaking on the occasion, Ravindra Nath Rai, member, State Executive Committee, CPI, said that taking advantage of COVID- 19 pandemic, Modi government got several bill passed in parliament and also issued ordinances in the interest of national and foreign corporate companies. He said that the Union government enacted black laws including three agriculture laws against the farmers while workinh hours for workers in factories was raised to 12 hours.
Lashing out at the State government, Rai said that unemployment is at its pick and the meritorious students are not getting job which is a great failure of the government. He exhorted people for final struggle against the Union and State government in the interest of farmers, students, and unemployed youth.
Pramod Kumar Singh, Ramayan Singh, Rameshwar Singh, Uday Shankar Paswan, Meena Kuer, Meena Devi, Rahul Gupta, Awadh Bihari Ram, Shankar Pawan and others were also addressed the meeting.
