Mahanth Raghunath Das installed as new mahanth of Mahavir Mandir

Patna: Mahanth Raghunath Das of Ramananadi sect from Aydohya was installed as the new mahanth of Mahavir Mandir located near Patna Junction on Tuesday evening.
A function was organised by Mahavir mandir trust at Mahavir Mandir temple committee office on Bailey Road where over 300 sadhus and saints from different parts of Bihar joined in welcoming the bachelor saint from Ayodhya as the head of the Mahabir Mandir.
Additional DG of Police,Gupteshwar Pandey, Principal secretary,law,Sanjay Kumar, Bharat Sadhu Samaj chief Swami Harinanarayannad ji ,Kishore Kunal, former chairman of Bihar Board of religious trusts participated in the installation ceremony of the new mahanth.
Mahanth Raghunath Das will be the fifth mahanth of the temple. The seat of mahanth had fallen vacant following the death of the previous mahanth at a  private hospital last month here.
