Ara : Police, on a tip off, conducted raids near Bihari Mill and arrested a liquor smuggler and seized 569 bottles of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) and a Muruti Car on September 3, 2020, late night, under Nawada Police Station (PS), Ara, in Bhojpur District in South Bihar.
SHO, Nawada PS, said that a Maruti Car bearing registaiton No of Haryana was intercepted near Ayush Hotel at Bihari Mill under the police station on September 3, 2020, during night patrolling in the area. When police searched the car, 569 bottles of IMFL packed in a tin case were seized.
The arrested liquor smuggler was identified as Pawan Kumar of Navela village under Kulana police station in Jhajjar District in Haryana. A named FIR has been lodged with Nawada police station in this connection and police sent him to jail after interrogation.
