Police arrest man from Bhojpur village for killing wife

Ara : Police, on a tip off, conducted raids at village Chandawa under Nawada police station in Bhojpur district on March 17, 2020, and arrested Tapeshwar Manjhi in connection with murder of his wife. He was absconding for the last four years.

SHO, Nawada police station, said that Tapeshwar Manjhi had allegedly killed his wife Bipatti Devi of village Chandawa in the year 2016 and was ever since evading arrest. He further said that the police got information that he had taken shelter at Chandawa village. He immediately swung into action and with a police force conducted raids at Chandawa and arrested Tapeshwar Manjhi. Later, police sent him to jail.
