Bhojpur SP suspends SI, Traffic, for dereliction of duty

Ara : Bhojpur SP Sushil Kumar on February 12, 2020, suspended SI, Traffic Incharge, Surendra Singh with immediate effect for dereliction of duty.

Bhojpur SP Sushil Kumar said that Ara-Patna main road was jammed near Dharahara Bridge under Town police station on February 11, 2020. On information, he directed the Traffic DSP and the Traffic Incharge to reach the spot and clear the road. The DSP along with police force reached the spot but the Traffic Incharge did not go and gave wrong information that he was at the police station.

When the SP verified his statement and location with the GPS, he was found at Policeline. The Traffic Incharge repeatedly   lied with the SP whenever he queried about his location. Taking serious of it, the SP suspended the Traffic Incharge with immediate effect.
