Ara : Police conducted raid at village Baruna under Bihia police station in Bhojpur District on February 12, 2020, and arrested a drug peddler Dhurandhar Paswan, son of Lalan Paswan of the village. Plice seized 295 gram of Heroin worth about Rs 15 lakh from his possession.
Bhojpur SP Sushil Kumar said that police got information that some peddlers had come to village Baruna under Bihia police station to deal in Heroin. He immediately sent a police team under SHO, Bihia police station, Ram Lakhan Prasad, that conducted raid at a house at Baruna village and arrested a drug peddler Dhurandhar Paswan and also seized 295 gram of Heroin from the house. The SP said that during interrogation, Dhurandhar Paswan revealed names of his associates and police are conducting raids to arrest them.
