Patna : Chasing a target of 178 runs, Bangladesh were struggling at 97/5 after 22 overs against India in the ICC U-19 World Cup final at Senwes Park, Portchefstroom, South Africa, on February 9, 2020, with leg spinner Ravi Bishnoi taking 4/25 in 7 overs and fast medium bowler Sushant Mishra taking one wicket. Akbar Ali is unbeaten on 18 hitting 2 fours and a six while Avishek Das is batting on 1. Bangladesh need another 81 runs to win the match..Bangladesh had won the toss but opted to bowl.

Batting first, India were all out for 177 in 47.2 overs with opener Yashasvi Jaiswal, who had scored century in SFs against Pakistan, scoring 88 in 121 balls hitting 8 fours and a six. Tilak Verma scored 38 while captain Priyam Garg made 7. Dhruv Jurel (wk) scored 22.

For Bangladesh, Avishek Das took 3/40 in 9 overs while Shoriful Islam and Tanzim Hasan Sakib took 2 wickets each. Rakibul Hasan took one wicket.
