Bagaha: A large number of people led by Ramesh Fauzi blocked NH28 (b) near village Chhotakipatti -Baragaon under Bagaha police station in West Champaran on Sunday paralysing the road communication for few hours. They were demanding repair of the road which links district headquarters of West champaran, Bettiah,  to sub divisional headquarters, Bagaha, besides protesting the poor condition of other roads of the Bagaha sub division.

Bagaha- Bettiah state highway was converted into NH 28 (b) a few years back but in absence of proper construction its condition became too poor that the vehicles that took two hours to reach Bagaha from Bettiah earlier, now take three to four hours to cover the distance. Heavy vehicles carrying good hardly pass through this route.

Soon after getting the information, BDO Bagaha -1 Anand kumar Vibhuti and police officials reached the scene and  persuaded the villagers to lift the road blockade.
