Rublev, Tommy Paul & Lloyd Harris reach SFs of ATP Adelaide International

Patna : World No 19 Andrey Rublev, 22, Russia, World No 90 Tommy  Paul, 22, USA, and World No 91 Lloyd Harris, 22, South Africa, reached the semi-finals of Adelaide International, an ATP 250 points hard court event at  Adelaide, Australia, on January 16, 2020.

Third seed Andrey Rublev beat World No 33 Daniel Evans, 29, UK, in a tough three-set contest 6-4, 3-6, 6-3 in 2hr 01 minute in quarter-finals on January 16. Rublev hammered 12 Aces in the match to 5 by Dan Evans. He won 2 break points to 1 by Evans. Both the players won 3 games each in a row in the match. Rubllev had won Qatar Open title on January 11, 2020.

Qualifier Llloyd Harris defeated World No 30 Pablo Carreno Busta, 28, Spain, in straight sets 6-3, 6-3 in QFs in 66 minutes. Harris hammered 13 Aces in the match to just 1 by Busta. He also won 3 break points in the match to none by Busta. Harris also won 3 games in a row.

Qualifier Tommy Paul beat World No 42 Albert Ramos-Vinolas, 31, Spain, in straight sets 6-3, 6-4 in QFs. Paul won 2 break points in the match to none by Vinolas. He fired 9 Aces in the match to 4 by the Spaniard. Paul als won 3 games in a row in the match. Paul will face Lloyd Harris in SFs on Janury 17, 2020.
