Rakesh Kumar appointed City SP, Gaya, Begusarai SP gets addi. charge of CMDT, BMP 8, Begusarai

Patna : Begusarai SP Avakash Kumar, a 2012 batch IPS officer, was on November 28, 2019, given additional charge of Commandant, BMP 8, Begusarai, until further order. ( State Home (police) Department  issued a notification to this effect the same day.

Commandant BMP 8, Begusarai, Rakesh Kumar, a 2013 batch IPS officer, was on November 28, 2019, appointed as City SP, Gaya. This follows cadre transfer of incumbent Manjit, a 2015 batch IPS officer, to Arunachal Pradesh -Goa- Mizoram & Union Territory (AGMUT) cadre from Bihar cadre by the Union Home Ministry.

Manjit’s wife Geetanjali Khandelwal is a 2015 batch an AGMUT cadre IPS officer. The Home Ministry issued a notification regarding cadre transfer of City CP, Gaya, Manjit, on September 20, 2019. Manjit will give his joining to UT Division, Union Home Ministry.
