
Chas (Jharkhand) : Committed to keep Mother earth clean, green and pollution free, DPS Chas in Bokaro District in Jharkhand continues its mission of cleanliness drive where all the school students took pledge for doing their best to make this mission a huge success as it has necessary for survival of living creatures.
Starting the “Swachhata Pakhwada” with Swachhat Shapath on September 23, 2019, followed by Swachhata awareness programme, green school drive, hand wash day, personal hygiene day besides campaigning how to get rid of plastic which is making human life miserable, the students displayed posters and placards urging the people to discourage use of polybags joining the national campaign to keep mother earth green, clean, and eco-friendly.
Speaking on the occasion, DPS Chas Principal Neelkamal Sinha stated that the school is committed to carry forward cleanliness drive since its inception. The School has always asks the students to make cleanliness their mission as it will not only keep them healthy but also play a big role in keeping mother earth ‘safe’ for every creature.
