DPS Bokaro Principal leads students in Cleanliness Drive

Bokaro (Jharkhand) : Taking forward the initiative for a clean India with the mission to save the Green Earth,  DPS Bokaro, Jharkhand, conducted ‘Cleanliness Campaign’ as part of  Swachh Bharat Abhiyan on the school campus on September 25, 2019.

The students along with the Principal and teachers took part in the campaign and pledged to promote ‘Plastic Waste Management’ and ‘Sanitation’ and propagate Cleanliness Drive besides campaigning against the ‘Single Use of Plastic’. The school further took pledge to conserve water and maintain personal hygiene as a part of daily routine.

The students and the Principal along with the  teachers cleaned the campus carrying the awareness programme to keep Mother Earth safe and pollution free. The objective of the programme is to promote values of Swachhata (Cleanliness), Unity, and Responsibility among the students to enable them share their responsibility of being a noble citizen towards the overall development of country.

Speaking on the occasion, Principal, DPS Bokaro, A S Gangwar, said that the school believes in making cleanliness a hobby which should be initiated at home and practiced on a larger platform in the society. “Better keep yourself clean and bright; you are the reflection of your actions, don’t blame the world as a dirty place when you are a part of the mass doing it,” he added.
