Muzaffarpur : A two- member CBI team reached Muzaffarpur on August 27, 2019, and quizzed an Assistant and Reader of Town police station, Muzaffarpur, for hours together and scanned the documents and records relating cases lodged in connection with the escape of girl inmates of a Shelter Home of Muzaffarpur. The CBI is probing the infamous Muzaffarpur Shelter Home sexual abuse and even murder cases on the direction of the Supreme Court.
The CBI officials also visited the houses of two inmates of Balika Shelter Home residing under Ahiyapur and Town
police station areas to verify their names and address. The CBI team also inquired about Brajesh Thakur , the prime accused in the case, Kumari Madhu and other accused of the sensational case from different persons.
