Nawada: A team of state vigilance investigation bureau sleuths led by DSP Maharaj Kanishka Singh and comprising six  others nabbed Shambhu Kumar, a revenue clerk posted in Nawada Land Requisition department, on Friday. Shambhu was caught accepting a bribe of Rs 30,000 from Ram Balak Prasad, a small farmer of village Kharond under Sirdalla police station in Nawada district. Ram Balak’s portion of land was acquired in 2003-2004 for the construction of Koderma- Hazaribagh railway line route. Shambhu was whisked away to Patna.
