Bagaha : A police team headed by SHO, Bhitaha police station in Bagaha police district, Manoj Kumar Sao, on a tip off, conducted raid and seized 1,500 grams of Ganja from the house of Surendra Gupta of village Rupahitand under the police station on July 3, 2019, night.
Police also arrested Surendra Gupta under various sections of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substance (NDPS) Act, 1985, and sent him to jail on July 4, 2019.
Police sources said the smuggler Surendra Gupta had kept Ganja at his house to supply the same to Uttar Pradesh (UP) crossing over the border. But, police arrested him and seized the Ganja.
