Ara : Bhojpur police recovered a minor girl from near Ara railway station under Town police station on June 3, 2019, and brought her over to Sadar Hospital, Ara, for medical examination. Plice would produce her before the Court on June 4, 2019, to get her statement recorded under Section 164 of Cr PC.
SHO, Ara police station, said that a school girl had disappeared on the way to her home from market before parliamentary elections. A named FIR was lodged by Ara town police station against Md. Imteyaz of Doodh Katora locality under Ara town police station on the statement of the mother of the girl. The girl’s mother had alleged that Md. Imteyaz had kidnapped her daughter. After institution of FIR, police conducted raids at all possible places and also put pressure on the family of Imteyaz to return the girl. Under mounting pressure, the miscreants left the girl near Ara railway station and police recovered her from there.
