Differently abled teenage girl raped by uncle at Bhojpur village

Ara : A man allegedly outraged modesty of his differently abled teenage niece at a village under Ara Muffasil police station in Bhojpur district on May 22, 2019 and confined her and her mother in a room to prevent them from lodging an FIR against him. On May 23, 2019, the mother -daughter duo somehow escaped and reached the Women’s Police Station, Ara, and lodged a named FIR against Suraj alias Putul in connection with incident..

SHO, Women’s Police Station, Madhuri Kumari, said that Suruj alias Putul dragged his teenage niece who can’t speak, into a room at a village under Ara Muffassil police station on May 22, 2019, when her mother had gone to bring fodder for cattle and allegedly raped her.When her mother returned and came to know about the incident, she along with her daughter tried to reach police but Suraj with the help of his friend, caught and confined them in a room threatening them of dire consequence. On May 23, 2019, mother-daughter duo slipped from his clutches and reached Women’s police station and lodged a named FIR against Suruj alias Putul.

The SHO said that police brought the girl to Ara Sadar Hospital for medical examination and also produced her before the Ara Civil Court on May 24, 2019. She also said that the police are investigating into the matter and conducting raids to arrest the accused.
