Ara : LJP Chief and Union Minister for Consumers Affairs, Food and Pubic Distribution Ram Vilas Paswan on May 15, 2019, evening, made a strong appeal to the people to vote for BJP nominee from Ara parliamentary constituency (PC) in Bhojpur district Raj Kumar Singh, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Power and New and Renewable Energy, for a strong government at Centre.
” If people want a strong and progressive government at Centre, they should vote for the NDA nominees only defeating evil designs of the opposition parties as the NDA Governments at the Centre and Bihar have executed a number of development schemes in the state,” LJP Chief Paswan said while addressing election meetings at Shahpur and Ekwari villages in support of BJP nominee from Ara Raj Kumar Singh. Paswan said that the NDA has fielded a person from Ara who is an epitome of honesty. He said that power has been made available to every household in India and lanterns are of no use now and by 2022 every poor family will have their own houses
Paswan said that the poor are getting the benefits of medicare up to Rs. 5 lakh under Ayshman Yojana bdesides getting LPG connections under Ujjawala Yojana. He said that the surgical strikes in Pakistan had boosted the morale of the Indians. He said that the former Prime Minister Vishwanath Pratap Singh, who belonged to upper caste, had given reservation to the other backwards castes under Mandal Commission while PM Narendra Modi, who belongs to an extremely backward caste, has provided 10% reservation to the upper caste poor.
The LJP Chief said that the UPA has no issue and so it misled the people in the name reservation. He said that Narendra Modi Government had given constitutional status to the OBC Commission. He said that Modi Government had given 10% reservation to poor among upper castes under the provisions of the constitution.
He said that terrorist like Masood Azahr was declared global terrorist due to NDA Government’s strong foreign policy. Paswan said that the Modi government had done a lot for the welfare of the farmers too and by 2022, their income would be doubled.
Bihar Agriculture Minister Prem Kumar talking to the media persons said that the NDA was contesting the General Elections 2019 on development issues while the opposition parties lack issue hence trying to mislead the people on trivial matters. He highlighted the works done by BJP nominee and sitting MP Raj Kumar Singh which include a new bridge across river Sone, medical college, engineering college, beautification of Ara railway station, foot overbridge at Kulharia, Ara eastern railway crossing. He further said that PM Narendra Modi and Union Minister Raj Kumar Singh, the BJP nominee, are unparalleled as far as development works go.
