Bhabhua: The water of Sone entered the Sudha Dairy Plant on Saturday at Nauhatta in Kaimur district. As a result production of milk has stopped. An official Rabindra Kumar said that the water of Sone is flowing knee deep in the plant even causing short circuit. He said that start of production work will take at least 15 days after the flood recedes. He said the milk at the plant is being sent to Ara and Mohania.
The flood water has entered around 300 villages in Kaimur district and about 300 people are perched at Sone Tila. The team of the NDRF evacuated 150 persons to safer places on Saturday. The flood water has entered about two dozen of houses at Banjari, Kashigawa, Balihari, Baknaur, Singhpur, Bandu, Jamorana, Toraiya and damaged property. About one dozen mud houses fell on the ground. Standing crops on thousands of acres at Daranagar, Singhpur, Dhelabad, Belaunja, Bandu Parachha, Nauhatta, Patkholia, Baknaur and others are withering.
Meanwhile, a team of Kaimur district administration took stock of flood and started rescue and relief operation. Food packets were distributed among the flood affected people and a medical team was also sent to the flood affected areas.
