82 candidates in fray from 5 PCs in Bihar in 3rd phase of LS polls

Patna : Bihar will go to polls in third Phase of General Elections on April 23, 2019, with 5 Parliamentary Constituencies (PCs)  : Jhanjharpur, Supaul, Araria, Madhepura, and Khagaria going to the polls. Altogether 82 candidates are contesting for these 5 Lok Sabha seats.

As per the data issued by CEO Bihar office, there are total 8909263 voters, which includes 8899815 General Voters and 9448 Service voters. Out of 8899815 General voters, 4655306 are male voters, 4244284 are female voters and 225 are third gender voters. They will excercise their franchise at 9,076 Polling stations set up for the smooth conduct of elections in the 3^rd Phase in Bihar, according to a PIB release.

The JD(U), RJD, and BSP  are contesting three seats each in the 3rd phase of LS polls in Bihar while the BJP and LJP are contesting one seat each.
