Patna: Praveen Chandra, a native of Sitamarhi district, lodged a complaint against the employees of a reputed nursing home (Paras Hospital) on Bailey Road for their insensitive attitude with the Shastrinagar police station on Wednesday. Chandra is currently residing near Kurji More under Patliputra police station. Police said that Chandra’s mother Shail Devi was admitted to Paras Hospital on June 6 this year and was discharged on June 14. She was again admitted to the same hospihospital on August 15 and died the next day. Senior SP (SSP), Patna, Manu Maharaj said that a case had been registered against the employees of the hospital alleging negligent attitude of the employees. He said that investigation is going on into the allegations. Shashtrinagar police station SHO Birendra Yadav said that the deceased’s son Praveen lodged a complaint alleging negligent attitude of the hospital employees that led to death of his mother during treatment. He said the family members have cremated the body.
