Ara : A liquor smugger escaped with manacles in his hands from police custody after he was brought over to Ara Civil Court for production on March 20, 2019. The liquor smuggler was identified as Prakash Chaudhary of village Bharauli under Shahpur police station in Bhojpur district.
SHO, Ara Town police station, said that a liquor smuggler Prakash Chaudhary was arrested with Indian Made Foreign Liquor on March 19, 2019, late evening, and police had brought him over to Ara Civil Court handcuffed for production. When papers were being prepared, he slipped away with manacles and escaped, he said. The SHO said that police are conducting raids at different places to arrest him.
