Ara : A man thrashed and injured his brother and sister-in-law (bhabhi) at village Bakharia under Ara Muffassil police station in Bhojpur district on February 22, 2019, for allegedly practicing witchcraft. The injured were admitted to Sadar Hospital, Ara. An FIR has been lodged with Ara Muffassil police station but no arrest has so far been made in this connection though police are investigating the matter.
SHO, Ara Muffassil police station, said that Saqina Begum, wife of N Hassan, fell ill at village Bakharia.tion. Sakina Begum held her own brother Md Khalil and his wife responsible for her illness alleging they practice witchcraft.
