Bettiah : Four armed criminals riding two motorbikes forcibly entered into Utakarsh private  finnance company at Chhawani under Manuyapul Police Out post under Bettiah Sub-Division in West Champaran district and looted a bag containing over Rs 15.81 lakh cash at gun point at 3.15 pm on February 21, 2019. Chhawani is about 3.3 km away from Bettiah town, headquarters of West Champaran district

Sources said that Chief Cashier  of the  company Deepesh Kumar  Singh was getting ready to deposit the cash into a nationalised bank. Meanwhile, the armed criminals with their faces covered and wearing  helmets appeared and looted the cash bag at gun point and fled away towards Chanpatia brandishing their firearms. Police are conducting raids to arrest the four criminals and recover the looted  amount.
