3 ADGs, 2 IGs promoted

Patna : Three IPS officers in the Additional Director General (ADG) rank were on December 31, 2018, promoted to the DG rank ( Pay Level 16 in the Pay Matrix). They are : Dinesh Singh Bist, an IPS officer of 1987 batch and ADG ( Training), Arvind Pandey, ADG( Bihar State Sports Authority), and ADG ( Headquarters) Sanjiv Kumar Singhal, both 1988 batch IPS officers.

Two IPS officers in IG rank were promoted to the rank of ADG. They are : Kundan Krishnan, IG (Operations) and Amit Kumar, Special Secretary (Home), both of 1994 batch. The Home ( Police ) department issued a notification to this effect on December 31, 2018, itself.
