Delhi police arrest arms smuggler from Bhojpur village

Ara : Delhi police with the help of their Bhojpur counterpart conducted raids at village Dhamar under Ara Muffassil police station on October 14, 2018, evening, and arrested Sanjay Kumar Singh, son of late Shiv Prasad Singh alias Raj Kishor Singh, in connection with smuggling of firearms and having links with the naxals. Later, the Delhi police took him to Delhi with them on a transit remand.

SHO, Ara Muffassil Police Station, said that an FIR had been lodged with under Lodi Colony Special Cell in New Delhi on July 12, 2018, against some arms smugglers and their link with naxals. The Delhi police arrested several members of the gang and during their search operation, they were informed that Sanjay Kumar Singh had taken shelter at his native village. He was also wanted in supply of firearms to the naxals and is one of the members of arms smugglers’ gang.
