Ara : Some unidentified armed miscreants shot dead Dhaneshwar Kumar Singh, 28, and threw the body on the roadside at village Dhanauti under Charpokhari police station in Bhojpur district around midnight on October 12, 2018.
Police, on getting information from villagers, brought the body over to Sadar Hospital, Ara, for post-mortem on October 13, 2018. Love affair is said to be the cause behind the murder. An FIR has been lodged with Charpokhari police station but no arrest has so far been made in this connection.
SHO Charpokhari police station said that Dhaneshwar Kumar Singh, son of late Nami Singh of village Dhanauti under the police station, had gone to the market on October 12 evening but he did not return. On October 13 morning, the villagers saw that the body of Dhaneshwar Kumar Singh lying on the roadside and informed police. Police immediately swung into action and recovered the body.
