Patna : India were 74/1 after 13.2 over in their first innings of the second cricket test against West Indies at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad, on October 13, 2018, morning, with opener Prithvi Shaw batting on 50 in 39 ball and Cheteswar Pujara on 5.

Lokesh Rahul fell to fast bowler Jason Holder for 4 continuing his poor form. He was out for a duck in the first test. Prithvi Shaw and Rahul added 61 run for the first wicket. Prithvi has hit 8 fours and a six in his unbeaten knock.

Earlier, resuming at their overnight score of 295/7 in 95 overs, West Indies were all out for 311 in 101.4  overs in the first hour of the play on October 13 with Roston Chase hitting 106, his 4th test century.

For India, Umesh Yadav took career best 6/88 while spinner Kuldeep Yadav took 3/85. Ravichandran Ashwin took 1/49.
