Patna : Chasing a target of 240 to qualify for the Asia Cup final against India, Pakistan were 93/4 after 24 overs against Bangladesh in their Super Four match on September 26, 2018, night, at Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi, with opener Fakhar Zaman, captain & wicketkeeper Sarfraz Ahmed, Shoaib Malik, and Babar Azam back to the pavilion. Opener Imam ul Haq was batting on 44 and Sadab Khan on 3.

Shoaib Malik scored 30 while Sarfraz made 10. Both Babar Azam and opener Fakhar Zaman scored 1 run each. Pakistan need to score another 147 run to win the match.

Earlier, opting to bat after winning the toss, Bangladesh were all out for 239 in 48.5 overs riding on a superb 99 in 116 ball with 9 fours by wicketkeeper Mushfiqur Rahim and 60 in 84 ball with 4 fours by Mohammad Mithun. Bangladesh had lost their first three wickets for just 12 runs but Mushfiqur and Mithun added 144 run for the fourth wicket.

For Pakistan, Junaid Khan took 4/19 while Shaheen Afridi and Hasan Ali took two wickets each. Shadab Khan took one wicket.
